The difference between a good image and a great one? The great crime photographer Weegee was once asked that. His answer? “F:16 and be there”! What he meant was that to make a great image, you have to be present and ready to shoot when the image calls. Many of the best images are fleeting and rely on your eyes and reflexes. The red in this incredible sunset only lasted about 30 seconds, then it was gone.
